I have four input methods that I use: 1) U.S. Extended (for English and German), 2) Polytonic Greek (for Greek), and 3) Hiragana (Japanese), and 4) Katakana (Japanese) I can switch between two with command-space, but is there a way that I can switch directly to one of these methods via the keyboard?
It's inconvenient to go up to the top menu to select a third input method. This happens the most when I'm working with English and Japanese (U.S. Extended, hiragana, katakana). I don't mind command-space two jump between two input methods, such as when I'm working with English and Greek. I can quickly jump from one to the other with Command-Space (even pressing it 3 times is quick). Hi Claire, I can cycle through the menus, I was wondering whether I can be even lazier than this. 🙂 🙂 🙂 The reason why is because to cycle through the options I take my eyes off of what I'm doing and look up to the corner where the symbols for the input methods are.

I'm hoping that I could assign a key combination to each input method, and just hit the first combination for U.S. Extended, the second for ひらがな, the third for かたかな, the fourth for Greek, the fifth for Russian.
